How often are funds distributed to landlords?

Funds are paid to landlords on weekly basis. We believe that your rental income is better utilised by yourself rather than remaining in our trust account to the end of the month.

How often are statements issued?

Statements are issued at each distribution. A financial year summary statement is issued with the June statement.

Can The Home Co Property Management pay bills relating to my property?

Yes, we can make payment of rates, utilities, insurance and strata levies for your property. The bills can be addressed directly to us for payment. Details of expenses paid are included in your monthly state and financial year summary.

How does The Home Co Property Management find tenants?

We find tenants through our existing database of tenants and by advertising. Our advertising approach is use premiere listings on realestate.com.au and domain.com.au to ensure prompt leasing of your property.

How are potential tenants assessed?

Tenancy applications are assessed with the intention of finding the most appropriate tenant for the property. To identify the most appropriate tenant identification documents are cross referenced with tenancy databases, evidence of income is obtained and references are checked. The final approval of the tenant is subject to the landlord being satisfied with the application.

Should a landlord have a landlord insurance policy?
